Rolands Easy Ro Quark Dip

INGREDIENTS

  • 250gm Ro Quark
  • 50 ml Milk
  • Spring Onions or fresh Chives
  • 150gm smoked Kahawai or 200gm smoked salmon
  • salt and pepper

METHOD

Dilute the Ro Quark with the milk or buttermilk, finely slice the Spring Onion or the Chives, crumble the smoked kahawai (or any other smoked fish) or finely slice the smoked salmon, Add all together and mix add salt and pepper and maybe a bit of fresh
lemon juice to taste.

Chef’s tips - If you reduce the milk in the mix you can also use it as a topping for canapés or gourmet sandwiches.

Instead of using the herbs and smoked fish try a runny honey and squashed fresh berries lift in a bit of whipped cream and cool. Makes a delicious and refreshing light dessert.
