First month down and 11 to go!!

January ended in a flurry with Anniversary weekend right at the end, Now hopefully Waitangi weekend will bring even more people down to the beach.

We have nothing particularly special planned for Waitangi weekend but we are planning to hold a Blueberry festival at the end of the Blueberry season. This we’ll hold next door in the Orchard with all manner of everything blueberry - steak sandwiches and cakes, prawns and smooooothies, ice cream and blueberry wine, and anything else we can think of!. All accompanied by live music...

This will probably take place towards the end of March as the blueberry season started late this year, so keep an eye out here on the website for more info.

Look out for us too at the Katikati Farmers market on Fridays. Between 4pm and 6pm we sell curries, goulash, and spaetzle etc - ready cooked meals that can be either quickly reheated or frozen for a convenient quick meal.

We’ve just bottled our spicy plum sauce, which turned out exceptionally well! On the shelf in the restaurant now!
