Well, September is behind us, and we are into Spring and daylight saving.

The weather has been hard with rain, cold and lots of wind to greet the start to the Rugby World Cup. Not much to show on the rugby visitor front - Four to date and no campervans in our place yet!
Our Social Wine Club is continuing to attract support with 25 in September. A great time was had by all with six international wines and six tapas to match. You can see the menu on the website (top right under “interested in wine”).
This month we concentrate on Oktoberfest on the 29th of the month. Featuring live German entertainment and a very German menu, we already have bookings coming in. With numbers limited to 50, it pays to confirm your booking by prepaying. This is a great success each year so be in quick. The evening starts at 5pm and continues until late. Waihi & Waihi Beach transport will be available for a gold coin donation to Ali and Baz of Bularangi.
If you or any of your friends are interested in receiving our monthly news sign up in the box at the footer of this page.
And don’t forget that bookings also have started for the long Christmas Day Lunch - it’s closer than you think!
Roland and the Team wishing you all a warm and successful spring.
