2013 is almost over and Christmas is nearly here! Are you ready for Christmas and the holiday season?
I am looking forward to my niece arriving from Germany on the 4th for a month long holiday and having both my boys here for our family Christmas lunch in Auckland on Boxing Day.
Boxing Day is the only day we will be closed and we are open from then until Easter - 7 days for lunch and dinner.
We still have a few spaces available for our Christmas Day lunch so if you would like to have a relaxing day with no cooking and dishes check out the menu – we would love to have you join us.
Remember only one sitting from 11am to 4 30 pm.
And it is still not too late to book a function (big or small) so please give us a call to secure your date.
Chef’s special dish of the month is lamb rump with rosemary jus, Agria wedges and green beans – spring lamb – simply mouth watering.
The last social wine club for the year was a great occasion – it was good to catch up with lots of old friends and meeting new ones on the night with wines/ bubbles supplied by Morton Estate Winery in Katikati.
We start our next season again in March as always on the last Thursday of the month with great vineyards and wines matched to the chef’s menu.
Remember our range of ready cooked take out meals – great for a summer night when you are short on time. Just heat and enjoy - curries, veal strips, lasagna, German meat loaf and more.
